What this site is
slovador.online publishes explanatory articles about consumer security products and the problems they are meant to solve. The site carries partner links: when a reader buys a product after following one, the publisher is paid a commission by the vendor. That is the site’s only source of revenue, and it is disclosed at the top of every page and again next to every link.
What this site is not
- It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by any vendor whose products it discusses.
- It is not a support channel. We cannot access, change, refund or cancel anybody’s subscription — only the vendor can.
- It does not publish reader testimonials, user ratings or star scores. We have no way to verify such things, and inventing them would be dishonest.
- It does not run a newsletter, an account system or a comment section, so there is nothing for you to sign up to and nothing for us to store.
Who writes it
Andrew Bailey is the responsible editor and the author of the articles published here. He is also the director of publication for the purposes of the legal notice. Articles carry his byline, a publication date and a list of the sources used.
How we work
Product facts are taken from the vendor’s own published documentation and dated, so you can see how fresh they are. Where we cannot verify something, we say so rather than filling the gap. Where an earlier version of a page was wrong, we correct it and list the correction on the page itself — as on the main article. The full set of rules we hold ourselves to is in the editorial policy.
Privacy, in one paragraph
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from third-party servers and uses no browser storage. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The cookie policy explains how to verify that claim in your own browser in about thirty seconds.
