Cookie policy

Effective 21 September 2026.

This website stores nothing whatsoever on your device. No cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no cache-based identifiers, no pixels, no fingerprinting. Not even a “necessary” cookie. That is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended, implemented in the Czech Republic in Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications) when a website stores information on, or gains access to information already stored on, a user’s terminal equipment. This website does neither. A consent banner here would be asking your permission for something that does not happen, which would be misleading rather than transparent.

Many sites that display a banner still need one because they set at least a cookie recording your banner choice. We avoided that problem by not having anything to remember.

What that means in practice

• No analytics. We do not know how many people read this page, which pages are popular, where readers come from or how long they stay. We accepted that in exchange for not collecting anything.
• No advertising or conversion pixels. No Google, Microsoft, Meta or affiliate-network tag fires on this site.
• No third-party requests at all. Fonts are the ones already installed on your device; the stylesheet, the single small script and every illustration are served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from a CDN, from Google Fonts or from any other external host.
• No login, no preferences, no dark-mode toggle to remember, so nothing needs storing.

How to verify this yourself

Do not take our word for it. In Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer, press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I; on a Mac, Cmd+Option+I) to open the developer tools, then:

1. Cookies. Chrome or Edge: open the Application tab, then Storage → Cookies in the left panel. Firefox: the Storage tab. Select this site. The list will be empty.
2. Other storage. In the same panel, check Local Storage, Session Storage and IndexedDB for this site. All empty.
3. Third-party requests. Open the Network tab and reload the page. Every single request in the list will be to slovador.online itself: the HTML, one stylesheet, one script, the SVG illustrations and the icon. Nothing else appears.
4. Response headers. Click the first request in that list and look at the response headers. There is no Set-Cookie header.
5. The quickest check of all. Open the Console tab, type document.cookie and press Enter. It returns an empty string.

On a phone this is harder to check; the desktop version of the site is identical.

The one piece of JavaScript on this site

A single small script, /js/cta.js, does two things and nothing else: it copies campaign parameters that are already in the address bar onto the partner link, so a click can be attributed, and it re-applies the rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" attributes to those links so they cannot be lost. It reads nothing from your device, writes nothing to it and makes no network requests. You can read the whole file — it is short and commented.

When you leave this site

Following a partner link takes you to another company’s website. That site will almost certainly set cookies, and its own cookie and privacy policies apply from the moment you arrive. Our zero-storage promise covers this website only; we have no control over anyone else’s.

Server logs

Not storing anything on your device is not the same as the server being unaware of your visit: a web server necessarily logs the requests it serves. That is explained, with the legal basis and retention, in section 3.1 of the privacy policy.

If this ever changes

If we ever needed to set a cookie, we would ask for your consent properly beforehand, and this page would be rewritten to list every cookie, its purpose, its provider and its lifetime. As of the effective date above, there are none.
